Allsport Ankle Braces

The Allsport Ankle® Brace was invented in 1985 and United States Patent(#4,966,134) was issued in 1990. Fifteen years of involvement in competitive sports and

a dedicated commitment to quality and excellence have played an important part in developing the Allsport Ankle® Braces. The original research and

development of the Allsport Ankle® came from the physically demanding sport of motocross, and was designed to be used as a piece of equipment. It had to be

comfortable and lightweight with a low profile fit to be used inside a motocross boot. Soon the word spread as to the effectiveness of the brace, and athletes

from many other sports started using the Allsport Ankle® Brace because of its effectiveness in providing support and impact protection for the ankle.

141 ORTHO
This is the brace that started it all, the original Allsport Ankle®brace. Invented in 1985, the 141 Ortho has provided support to thousands of people around the globe. The 141 is constructed with the SPS Split Pad System and 100% cotton inelastic straps with Velcro® closures and a Subtalar strap for mid-foot control. It also features D-rings on the circumferential straps for added compression.
144 ORTHO II
The Allsport Ankle® 144 Ortho II carries on the same proven design and quality of the original Ortho with the addition of Circumferential Straps of Velcro® brand Velstretch® elastic strapping. The 144 is constructed with the SPS Split Pad System and 100% cotton inelastic lateral and subtalar straps with Velcro closures.
147 MX-2
Worn by professional motorcycle riders Shae Bentley, Brian Deegan and Robbie Reynard, the Allsport Ankle® 147 MX-2 incorporates a low profile design that allows it to fit into most motocross boots. This feature in addition to the SPS Split Pad design and Velstretch® strapping makes it the most versatile of the Allsport Ortho line.
The Allsport Ankle® is the only hard-shell ankle brace with a patented anatomic design that relates specifically to the shape of the nylon shells and how they fit the human ankle. This combined, with the increased impact protection of the nylon shells, the Allsport Ankle® provides you with a complete ankle management system.
